November 12, 2009-LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers were in South Florida tonight to play his buddy Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat. Wade and LeBron will be forever linked to the 2003 NBA Draft. Of course we know that LeBron James was the #1 pick. But the #5 pick was Dwyane Wade. I still find it hard to believe that Darko Milicic was drafted before D-Wade back in 2003. In fact, Milicic was drafted #2 before Carmelo Anthony and Chris Bosh! Nice job Joe Dumars.

Back to tonight's Heat-Cavaliers game. LeBron James scored 34 points as his Cavs ended up winning the game, 111-104. Dwyane Wade had a great game too as he scored 36 points and had a spectacular dunk over Anderson Varejao.

LeBron James had some help from his teammates as Mo Williams scored 25 points and J.J. Hickson added 18 in the win. For Miami, Michael Beasley had 24 points and Jermaine O'Neal scored 15 with 9 rebounds. Now there is talk that LeBron could join Dwyane Wade as teammates because both of them are free agents at the end of the 2009-10 NBA season. Not likely to happen, but who knows??
